HOUR-BY-HOUR AT UF

The first and only noon game in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium this season will be the comfortable one. A noon kickoff in The Swamp often comes with the thought of a  sweltering heat index. This will not be the case Saturday.

If you’re heading out to tailgate early, temperatures will be warming from the 50s to the 60s, skies will be sunny, and the breeze will be light. You’ll want to dress slightly warmer in the morning hours, but be prepared to shed a layer by afternoon.

Temperatures by kickoff will be in the lower 70s. During the game, clouds will be increasing and winds picking up out of the northeast.

A northeast breeze will continue into the evening hours as temperatures drop into the lowers 70s by 4 pm. There’s a chance fore a brief shower between 4 and 6 pm, but most areas will stay dry.
