Gabrielle is moving toward the west-northwest near 18 mph (30 km/h). The storm is forecast to recurve over the central Atlantic during the next day or two and then accelerate northeastward into the north Atlantic Monday and Tuesday.
Maximum sustained winds are near 50 mph (85 km/h) with higher gusts. Some strengthening is forecast during the next couple of days. Gabrielle is forecast to become an extratropical low and begin weakening on Tuesday.
Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 115 miles (185 km) from the center.
The estimated minimum central pressure is 1002 mb (29.59 inches).
